Balham is a lively district full of great bars and restaurants, independent shops and all your usual staples. The Exhibit event venue features a boutique cinema and provides a great way to spend your day while the Banana Cabaret comedy club is the perfect way to spend your evening. Blackheath is almost a hidden treasure, with its rolling green landscapes and historic castles seldom seen in other areas around London. Blackheath Common provides a huge open space you can walk or cycle around - perfect for the long journeys with loved ones on a sunny afternoon. Vanbrugh Park also has its own church, St John’s Blackheath, on the way to the adjoining Greenwich Park, while the Church of Ascension can be found further in and holds regular events in its function room.

Brentwood has lots of outdoor spaces to walk around and fun parks for kids to enjoy. From Old MacDonald’s Farm & Fun Park to the Hopefield Animal Sanctuary, there are plenty of places to meet friendly animals while Weald and Thorndon Country Park are home to great trails to walk and incredible wildlife including wild deer. Brentwood Cathedral provides one of the town’s most prominent landmarks while the Gruffalo Trail provides the perfect activity to do as a family!

One described as “up and coming”, it’s fair to say Brixton has now established itself as one of the best places to go in South London. From the iconic Electric Avenue to the Ritzy Cinema, there are loads of attractions, not to mention a huge choice of cafes and restaurants.
